Maltings Academy is an 11-16 co-educational Academy for 900 students. The Academy opened in September 2012 on the site of the predecessor school. Maltings Academy is judged by Ofsted to be an Outstanding School. Maltings academy is an oversubscribed school at the heart of its local community. We are looking for a second in charge of science to join our excellent team of professionals to support the Head of Subject in leading the team. The science department is made up of 7 teachers and a lab technician. We believe that students deserve a broad and ambitious Science curriculum, rich in skills and knowledge, which ignites curiosity and prepares them well for future learning or employment. Our science curriculum will enable learners to:
- Share the wonder of science and be driven by curiosity to remedy misconceptions
