The role:

Heritage High School are seeking a confident and reliable Second in Department to join their Design & Technology team. This role will be responsible for supporting the Head of Department in the design of schemes of learning for DT ensuring these meet statutory requirements and provide our students with broad, balances and engaging experience.

This role will also act as Lead Internal Verifier for the department, ensuring standardisation and consistency that meets current requirements.


The person:

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, resourceful and keen to ensure that the highest possible standards of pupil achievement, personal development and well-being are achieved. The post holder will want to inspire our students to develop a love for Art, Design & Technology and be a role model to colleagues.
