We are seeking to employ an enthusiastic teacher of MFL to support the work of our Head of MFL. The successful candidate will be able to teach French up to A level and ideally Spanish in KS3. The school is keen to support staff to develop both personally and professionally, and the successful candidate will be given training opportunities to suit their needs and career aspirations.

The MFL department is housed in dedicated rooms within the English and Languages block and has its own staff room. Our students are well-behaved, happy, engaging, and inquisitive individuals, who are proud to be Prince William students. We are passionate about providing them with the best possible education and they have high aspirations for themselves and look to us to guide them on their journey to adult life.

Prince William School is located in the picturesque small town of Oundle and is within easy commuting distance of Peterborough, Stamford, Kettering, Huntingdon, Wellingborough, and Corby. This is an exciting time for the school as examination results have seen rapid improvement and the school is expanding. In 2019, 72% of our KS4 cohort achieved grade 4+ in both English and Maths with 52% achieving grade 5+ in both English and Maths. The school’s Progress 8 score was +0.25, and the gap between disadvantaged and other students closed significantly for the second successive year, with the Progress 8 score for Disadvantaged students being +0.06. In KS5, we achieved 56% A* - B and 79% A* - C, an average grade of B- and a positive progress measure.
