This is in an exciting opportunity for an outstanding teacher of English who is ready for that next rewarding step in their career. The appointed candidate will be joining a highly successful team who remain consistently excellent in the quality of their teaching and learning and the fantastic outcomes they secure for our students. For the right candidate, there is also the opportunity to take on the leadership of our whole-college Reading Strategy - a role that carries an additional TLR and can be discussed at interview if of interest.

The successful candidate will be:

• A skilled teacher of English who is ambitious for all students and fully inclusive in their approaches.
• Able to coach and assist other department members where required.
• Passionate about curriculum and pedagogy
  
• Well-read where best practice in English is concerned and ready to support an experienced
  
• Lead Practitioner in driving departmental priorities forward
• Well-supported with comprehensive offerings of CPD.
• Fully supportive of the Catholic Ethos of our college
