We are keen at appoint an exceptionally motivated and outstanding subject specialist who may be keen to actively support the running of the Humanities department. The department has seen a lot of growth in the past four years and is now offering History, Geography and Religious Studies at GCSE and A-Level, with Law and Politics additionally offered in KS5.
We are a vibrant and enthusiastic department of 10 subject specialists, working collectively and celebratorily to ensure the pupils’ continued success, as well as that of the department. We work efficiently and effectively, both within subjects and across key stages, to provide the best for our pupils. The team has a strong moral and work ethic which allows us to push our pupils outside of their comfort zones to achieve this full potential in a safe and adapted environment to support their individual needs. We strongly believe all pupils should not only learn about elements of the Humanities curriculum, but also experience it.
We seek to appoint a well-rounded subject specialist who is able to teach both GCSE and A-Level pupils, ideally in Religious Studies and/or History, but are very happy to consider applicants with other Humanities specialisms who would be keen to take the next step in their career.
