We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational leader as Second in Mathematics.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Maths in leading the department, taking on the leadership of one or more specific areas. They will work to build on the recent success of the department, further developing the curriculum and teaching practice to support the Academy’s academic and strategic goals.

This year the mathematics department saw a record number of students achieving A*- C grades and making Levels of Progress in line with national levels of performance. The Progress 8 measure was one of the strongest in the school reflecting the strength of the maths team and their high expectation and commitment to student outcomes.
