We collaborate with primary and secondary schools across South Yorkshire and north Derbyshire, drawing on the outstanding expertise in our region to ensure every child gets the very best education possible.

The Sheffield Teaching School Alliance is part of Chorus Education Trust, and as such all appointees may be required to work at any Trust site in the future.

Secondary ITT Course Leader
Salary Scale L6 – L10
(£46,457 – £51,311)

Required to start September 2020, an experienced Lead Practitioner who will demonstrate, sustained, high quality performance linked to the modelling and improving of teaching skills within Sheffield Teaching School Alliance (STSA) and across Chorus Education Trust

An ability to demonstrate that they have worked extensively with colleagues both in and outside of Silverdale to support the development of leadership and management in Early Career Development with high levels of success.

Outstanding leadership skills at Middle Leader level and/or above.

An understanding of system leadership and the role of Teaching Schools in providing this leadership.

A comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the ITT Core Content and Ofsted framework and its implications for Teacher Training and Schools.
