What skills and experience we're looking for
Education Sector Knowledge:
- You’ve got QTS. You have excellent classroom pedagogy and good knowledge of both the Teachers' Standards and Core Content Framework.
Developing Others:
- You’ve developed, mentored and coached trainee teachers within an ITT route for at least two years e.g. PGCE, Schools Direct, Teach First etc.
- You’ve developed other qualified teachers’ practice.
Primary Phase Knowledge:
- You are a primary phase specialist and have at least two years’ experience of classroom teaching in this phase.
Your Professional Development:
- You are keen to develop your skills and knowledge as a Lead Mentor and will work with the Lead School and Teach First to do this.
The nice to haves:
You have experience of using technology to effectively coach and mentor others
You can demonstrate your knowledge of evidence-based teaching practices and evaluating interventions in schools
