SECONDARY SCITT HUB LEAD
Leadership Scale L1 – L5
Start Date 17th April 2023
The Redhill Trust in partnership with Inspiring Leaders is seeking to appoint a lead for the growing secondary Hub of the Inspiring Leaders SCITT. The secondary Hub currently provides teacher training for aspiring secondary teachers across the East Midlands and is strategically supported by the Redhill Teaching School Hub. The SCITT Hub lead will be responsible for all matters related to the leadership of the secondary Hub and be part of the SLT of the group of Hubs which form the Inspiring Leaders SCITT.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in Teaching & Learning, be an excellent communicator who is also highly organised, with a strong awareness of ITT processes and recent, relevant experience of working with trainees. Leadership experience is desirable. The ability to manage time and resources effectively as well as build strong relationships with all stakeholders is essential.
Specific duties will include:
- Supporting the on-going development of the SCITT at a strategic level
- Overseeing the marketing of and recruitment to the SCITT
- Co-ordinating and delivering training for all secondary trainees
- Overseeing assessment and QA processes
- Managing training placements and supporting trainees, mentors and ITT co-ordinators.
