Starting from: September 2024

We are looking to appoint an outstanding, enthusiastic and dedicated teacher. The successful candidate will initially teach a KS3 class of mixed ability pupils with the potential of becoming a specialist subject teacher the following year. This role would ideally suit either a secondary teacher with experience of teaching a range of subjects or a teacher with experience of upper primary. The ideal candidate will have experience of and / or an aptitude for working with pupils with SEMH. The successful candidate will be innovative and flexible in their approaches to learning.

Bure Park Specialist Academy is a residential SEMH Academy for boys from Year 2 through to Year 11. The multi-disciplinary team consists of Care Staff, Teachers and TAs who facilitate the Academy’s aims of re-integrating pupils into their home environment and when appropriate mainstream school. Pupils arrive at the school with disrupted educational experiences and complex difficulties and our team are responsible for ensuring that they leave with superb outcomes academically, socially and behaviourally.
