Secondary Specialist Teacher job summary
SGS Pegasus School have an exciting opportunity for a Secondary Specialist Teacher covering Maternity leave, potentially with a view to becoming permanent.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
❖ Demonstrate good subject and curriculum knowledge
❖ Set high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge students
❖ Plan and teach well structured lessons to promote good student progress and outcomes
❖ Actively contribute to the SGS Pegasus School Development Plan
Beneficial Skills & Qualifications
❖ Qualified Teacher Status
❖ Further qualifications related to SEN
❖ Experience of teaching pupils with autism within Secondary Education
❖ Knowledge, awareness, interest and passion for education of pupils with SEN
