SEMH pathway Teaching Assistant 2 - Behaviour Support job summary
In particular, successful applicants should ideally have;
Experience of working with children in the primary age range
An understanding of children with SEN needs
Knowledge of child safeguarding procedures
An understanding of positive behaviour strategies
You should:
Have excellent communication skills
Have the ability to build effective relationships with students, parents and other staff
The ability to relate in a friendly way with a wide range of personalities
The ability to use initiative
Be willing to undertake direction and guidance
Have a good understanding of positive behaviour management strategies
Be able to work as part of a team
We provide a comprehensive induction and training programme. We do not require formal qualifications; however applicants must have good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
