The successful candidate will be motivated by the belief
that every young person can achieve their potential. Whilst previous experience
of working in an SEN environment is desirable, excellent teaching skills and
the right motivation, personal qualities and levels of resilience are just as
important. Experience of teaching learners with complex needs or experiential
learning would also be of interest.

Mill Green School is an ‘Outstanding’, maintained community
special school, providing education to 117 young people aged 14-19. Due to
continued school growth and internal promotion, the Governing Body are seeking
to appoint, motivated and resilient Teacher to join our hard working, dynamic and enthusiastic team, who shares in our determination
to transform the life chances young people who attend Mill Green. The post is
fixed-term until July 2024, in the first instance. As a 0.8 FTE role, the
successful candidate will be required to work Tuesday-Friday.
