SEN 1:1 Learning Support Assistant job summary

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated SEN Learning Support Assistant to start with immediate effect as part of a job share supporting an EYFS pupil with an EHCP imminent.

The position is 25 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term time plus INSET days), fixed to funding until April 2023 with the possibility of the fixed term being extended subject to funding being available at that time.

Scale 3 within the point's range 4 - 5

Full time equivalent £19,264 - £19,650

Actual Salary £11,133.93 - £11,357.03

The successful candidate will:

· Be dedicated, positive and flexible.

· Demonstrate a love of learning and value people.

· Be able to inspire and motivate children to succeed.

· Experienced working with pupils with SEND.

· To attend to pupils' personal needs including help with social, welfare and health matters, including first aid.

· Experience in working 1:1 with children with SEN.

· A caring and sensitive approach.

· A patient and positive attitude, along with a good sense of humour.
