What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking to appoint an outstanding teaching assistant who:
- Is enthusiastic in providing dedicated support to an individual child;
- Can bring a range of skills, strategies and experience to offer the post;
- Has the ability to communicate effectively and clearly;
- Is patient and understanding;
- Is highly motivated, kind, friendly and well organised with a sense of humour.
This post would suit someone able to follow a highly individual programme of support and liaise independently with a variety of outside agencies. It is preferable that the applicant has Level 3 or above qualification.
The successful applicant will be required to work as part of team, be a good communicator with adults and children and has enthusiasm and commitment to the aims and values of the academy.

Temporary 1-1 Teaching Assistant UKS2
Monday - Friday 8.30 am to 3.30 pm – 32.5 hours per week
Salary: Actual £21,114 - £22,130
Required as soon as possible to support an upper KS2 pupil who has a statement of special educational needs.

Ellison Boulters Church of England Academy is a thriving village church Primary school with around 275 children on role. We are approximately seven miles north of Lincoln and primarily serve the villages of Scothern, Sudbrooke, Langworth and Stainton-by-Langworth. We have ten classes, some of which are mixed with two different year groups. We work closely with our local schools and secondary feeder schools. We are a member of Kyra Teaching School Alliance and a member of the Lincolnshire Learning Partnership.
