Lime Academy Trustees are looking to recruit a SEND teacher who shares our passion for achieving the very best outcomes for our pupils. We are looking for a SEN Class Teacher to join our team based at Lime Academy Forest Approach, a special school in the London Borough of Havering for children aged 2-19.
The salary for this post will be paid in accordance with Teachers Pay and Conditions plus a SEN Allowance of £2,270.00 per annum. Discretionary flexibilities for pay awards exist for hard to recruit posts.
You will need to be a practitioner who can take responsibility for planning and delivering lessons in all areas of the curriculum and providing personalised activities to meet the needs of the pupils within your class. You will be committed to on-going professional development. Your high level of professional values and your educational philosophy will ensure that the pupils needs are at the heart of all you do. You will have the commitment and aspiration for our pupils to reach their full potential and have a commitment to the attainment and achievement of greater levels of independence for pupils who have complex, medical, behavioural and physical learning difficulties. This can be a challenging environment, therefore determination and resilience are key characteristics for the post.

We strive to ensure our pupils reach their full potential to allow them to actively participate in the wider community and to prepare them for adult life.
