Our students are referred to us from Staffordshire and neighbouring Local Authorities.

One role is for a general SEN teacher, for which experience of delivering a wide range of subjects, of having worked with a range of different age groups and having previous SEN teaching experience are all things that would further support an application. The other role is more subject specific to the teaching of English. Candidates are encouraged and welcome to visit the Academy.

Expectations are that the successful applicant will:

  • Set the highest standards for themselves and for our students.
  • Be an excellent, flexible, positive, and inspirational practitioner.
  • Have highly effective communication skills and a commitment to a collaborative, team approach.
