SEN & DSL Leader job summary

• Be a member of the Senior Leadership Team
• Undertake such duties as are delegated by the Headteacher
• To lead, manage, develop and maintain high quality SEN provision which enables quality teaching, excellent learning outcomes and success for all pupils.
• To support inclusive practice, specifically SEN, Pupil Premium, EAL, children with behavioural difficulties and particularly important to include more able children in this inclusive practice
• To be the Designated Safeguarding Leader and lead on all matters relating to Child Protection, Safeguarding and Attendance
• To ensure all pupils with SEND and the more able achieve the best they can
• To continue to develop provision for children eligible for the Pupil Premium Grant and raise their attainment and progress
• To support school leaders in their aim to ensure high quality teaching and learning for EAL and ethnic minority children
