  • The position is term time only. 31.25 hours a week, 5 days a week (Monday to Friday) from 8.30am to 3.15pm. You may be asked to work the school INSET days for which overtime will be paid.

Fixed term - 2 Years initially but with the potential to extend

FTE Bucks Pay Range 1B scale 6 £18,522 to Range 2 scale 15 £22,766 depending on SEN experience.

Actual salary

FTE based on 37 hours per week, 52 weeks p.a.

SEN Learning Support Assistant job summary

The successful candidate will:
Be able to provide 1:1 support for a pupil with additional needs starting in Reception in September 2022
To support the pupil in their learning individually and in small groups within the Early Years provision
Deliver SEN interventions as required
Communicate effectively with the class teacher, SENDCO, parents and outside agencies to support the child
Seek to make learning exciting and a positive experience for all pupils
Have the ability to connect with vulnerable children and those with additional needs
Be able to build strong positive relationships with pupils to help them progress both socially and academically.
Be able to work on their own initiative, as well as contributing to a team
Be willing to contribute to school life outside of the classroom
Be fully supportive of the strong Christian ethos of the school and it’s values
