Job role: Learning support or cover supervisor

Working pattern: Part time: Term time only 30 hours per week Monday – Friday 8:45am – 15:15pm
Contract type: Fixed term - TBC
Pay scale: Scale 3, Points Range 4 - 5
Additional allowances: Outer Fringe included in Salary

What skills and experience we're looking for

Experience of working with pupils, including physical and sensory needs, particularly those with special educational needs would be beneficial.

You will need to be:

Calm, positive and patient Consistent and approachable Able to work on your own initiative but also within a team Able to listen to and take guidance from colleagues, specialist teacher and other professionals Able to build positive relationships with the pupil and their families.

The role will include helping to organise resources and work with teacher and the other support staff to plan and co-ordinate work.
