St Matthew’s CE Primary School is a thriving and inclusive school. We continuously look to significantly invest in our staff, to make a real impact on the lives of our children. Start January 2026 until July 2026 in the first instance.

We are looking to appoint an experienced and committed LSA to join our team at St Matthew's. In this fixed-term role you will have the opportunity to work with our children, supporting their development and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide promote the learning and development to children to whom you are assigned including 1:1 support
  • Assist with the delivery of engaging and stimulating learning activities
  • Help to create a safe, caring, and inclusive environment for all children
  • Contribute to the planning and assessment of children's progress
  • Collaborate with the class teacher to ensure the best possible outcomes for our pupils

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children in an educational setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Commitment to promoting the well-being and progress of all children

Desirable Qualities:

  • Knowledge of working in a primary school curriculum
  • Experience working with children with SEND needs
  • Creativity and a passion for engaging children in learning through play

Working days are Tuesday to Friday - 08:15 - 15:30 term time only
