Teaching Assistant Level 2 (Grade 5) 25 hours a week. Term time only.

Burford C of E Primary School are looking to appoint a committed, talented, specialised SEN Teaching Assistant to join our successful friendly team.

We are a nurturing school, set in Burford, a growing Shropshire village, separated from the Market town of Tenbury Wells (Worcestershire) by the River Teme, which acts as the county boundary.

We empower our staff and support them through our Christian foundations and values. You will be working alongside committed and dedicated colleagues.

We are seeking to appoint a SEN Teaching Assistant who:

Has specialist knowledge of strategies to support children on the SEN register


Has a flexible approach and ability to work as part of a team

  • Is willing to participate fully in all aspects of school life
  • Can work closely, communicating effectively, with an experienced and skilled SENDCo and classteachers and other staff
  • Has the ability to think on their feet and use their initiative
  • Is motivated passionate and reflective about their work
  • Has a commitment to professional development and the skills to engage positively with practitioners, parents/carers and families
