We wish to appoint a part-time SEN teacher to teach across KS3 and KS4.

We are seeking a teacher who is:
 Knowledge of the Secondary Curriculum
 Successful secondary teaching experience is desirable
 Has knowledge of effective teaching and learning strategies with regard to SEN students
 Ability to build effective working relationships with pupils and adapt teaching to meet their needs.
 Ability to foster a pupils’ self-image and promote their self-esteem
 Ability to use data to inform planning and delivery of interventions
 Ability to supervise support staff assigned to classroom delivery
 Ability to work with colleagues and other professional staff within the school
 Ability to produce high standard reports and feedback in a timely manner
 Knowledge of guidance and requirements around safeguarding children
 Good ICT skills, particularly using ICT to support learning
