About you

The successful candidate should have knowledge of the graduated pathway and working with My Plan and EHCP targets. You should be able to teach across KS1 & KS2 and be able to motivate, inspire and make a difference to young people, both academically and personally. You will be resilient, outgoing, enthusiastic, an excellent team player and confident in dealing with challenging behaviour in line with school policy and procedure.

The Role

We are seeking a passionate and resilient full-time SEN teacher to join our fantastic primary school in Gloucester. You will need to provide high-quality education to children from reception to year 6 in a specialised hub to meet their varying needs. You will be working with the schools SENDCo and Assistant Head for Behaviour to set up the specialised hub and will be part of a team that works to support children in overcoming barriers to both their education and personal development. You will work closely with support staff to create a safe and enjoyable learning environment. The school offers opportunities for the children to learn both inside and outside of the classroom, so, if you’re an outgoing person who also loves the outdoors, this may be the perfect role for you!
