What skills and experience we're looking for
Temple Hill Primary Academy are looking to recruit a number of Teaching Assistants to join their staff on fixed term contracts initially for a year but with the protentional to be extended for right candidates. We are looking for SEN Teaching Assistants, One to One Teaching Assistants and One to Two Teaching Assistants.
Personal Specification:
Essential
- Previous experience of working with children.
- Ability to relate to children and adults, understand their needs and respond accordingly.
- Good influencing skills to encourage students to interact with others and be socially responsible.
- The ability to work well in a team and independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Numeracy and literacy skills
Desirable
- Basic IT skills
- Knowledge of policies and procedures relating to safeguarding, child protection, health, safety, security, equal opportunities and confidentiality.
