What skills and experience we're looking for

  • We are looking to appoint an experienced and high calibre Teaching Assistant to support our SEN pupils.
  • To be an effective communicator.
  • To have a knowledge of wider community inclusion for children with special educational needs and an interest in developing a career in education.

  • To have relevant GCSE, ‘A’ level or graduate qualifications or equivalent.

  • To have the ability to recognise the range and implications of factors that impact pupil behaviour.

  • To have the ability to provide a structured activity within a group setting.

  • The ability to have effective time management, planning and collaboration.

  • The ability to summarise and present information from observations of pupil performance.

  • To have the ability to adapt or modify interactions to meet pupil needs.
