SEN Teaching Assistant job summary
Do you have the ability to support children on an individual basis with their learning?
We are now looking for a part-time Teaching Assistant to work in our Academy Special Support Centre supporting a KS2 child. The successful candidate will work as part of a team delivering 1:1 or small group work, for which training will be given. Please note that physical moving and personal care are requirements of the position, for which training will be given.
The post is temporary to 23rd July 2022 (but may be extended if funding permits)
5 days a week, 20 hours per week (8.30am – 12:30pm)
Please note this role carries a SEN allowance of £1389.00 plus Crawley Weighting allowance of £626 per annum. As the role is offered on a part time basis the salary and allowances will be calculated on a pro rata basis which equates to an actual salary of £9,268.21 per annum.

Desmond Anderson Primary Academy is a school for 4 to 11-year olds in Crawley, West Sussex. Each year we welcome two classes of children to our dynamic, happy school. We utilise our extensive grounds to bring learning to life for our pupils. We have a special facility for up to 20 pupils with autism and a nursery for children aged from 2 years.
