What skills and experience we're looking for
Good numeracy/literacy skills;
NVQ 2 or equivalent in teaching assistance or experience;
First Aid training/training in specific medical procedures.
Training in the literacy/numeracy strategy;
Experience
Working with or caring for children of relevant age.
Skills/knowledge
Effective use of ICT to support learning;
Use of other equipment technology - video, photocopier;
Knowledge of relevant policies/codes of practice and awareness of legislation;
General understanding of National Curriculum and other basic learning programmes;

We are all immensely proud of our School. Sidestrand Hall School caters for pupils aged 7 – 19 years with wide ranging complex needs. The School stands in 15 acres of land on the North Norfolk Coast. We have a range of specialist facilities on site including gardens, greenhouse, woods with a bike trail, a go-kart track, mechanics and construction workshops, science lab, food technology room, sensory room, purpose built Sixth Form and residential units.
