SEN Teaching Assistant job summary
Post Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
School: Gravel Hill Primary School
Contract Type: Fixed term for one year (31st August 2025)
Contract Hours: 27.5 hours per week, 38 weeks per year term time only.
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday 8.35a.m. – 3.05p.m.
Grade: Bexley 05
Salary: £27,030FTE and pro-rated salary £17,305
Position start Date: As soon as possible

We are looking to recruit three SEN Teaching Assistants to support the educational outcomes of our pupils. We are looking for an experienced TA with a proven track record of supporting pupils, including pupils with a high level of need.
The ideal candidate will have:
Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work well as part of a team
Knowledge of a range of primary school interventions and provisions
The minimum of a Level 2 Diploma or equivalent, with proficient practical skills
