SEN Teaching Assistant job summary

SEN TA

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a strong candidate to support SEN teaching and learning at Hounslow Town Primary School in Hounslow. This role is varied, and we are looking for an adaptable, flexible and resourceful individual able to cope in a high-pressure environment and deal with constantly changing priorities.

Hours of work 26.25 per week 9.00am to 3.15pm Monday to Friday

We are looking for an Experienced Teaching Assistant who:

· Holds a minimum qualification of NVQ 2 and First Aid Certificate
• Experienced in supporting children in KS1/KS2 SEN and working 1:1 with pupils with a variety of additional needs.
· Puts the child at the heart of everything
• Is caring, supportive and can follow own initiative
• Works well in a team and independently
• Has a high standard of literacy, numeracy and ICT skills
• Shows commitment and the ability to develop good relationships, which help children build confidence and inspire them to reach their goals
