SEN Teaching Assistant Level 1 job summary

Would you like a new challenge in an outstanding Special School for students and pupils between the ages of 3-11 with a range of Special Educational Needs in a friendly, supportive school, committed to team work and joint curriculum planning?

We are looking for candidates who have:

  • Ability to work successfully as part of a team
  • A commitment to high expectations to meet the needs of all children

Experience of working in a school or with children with special needs is desirable but not essential. Please answer all questions within the application in full and give examples where possible.

Hours of work will be 8.45 a.m. – 3.45 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and 8.45 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Tuesday. Flexible working options will be considered and pay would be adjusted accordingly.

This job includes the need for applicants to be confident and capable to work in the hydrotherapy pool environment. This may include getting into the water with the pupils.
