SEN Teaching Assistant (Maternity Cover) job summary

Under the guidance of senior staff, to deliver support of individual pupils or small groups with special educational needs by developing suitable programmes of support to assist their access to teaching and learning activities.

Be responsible for managing a resource area, including specialist resources or equipment, where appropriate.

To work flexibly to support special educational needs across the school, to promote the inclusion of all students and to contribute to the safeguarding and protection of all pupils.
