SEN Teaching Assistant job summary
We are looking to appoint a SEN Teaching assistant initially for a fixed term period of the Summer Term due to funding. We are looking for someone who is an inspirational, forward thinking SEN Teaching assistant who prides themselves in working collaboratively, supporting children in building foundations for happy and successful life-long learners. This is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to develop their skills in a caring and supportive school. While the ideal candidate will be someone who has experience of working with children previously, this is not essential.
You will be friendly, enthusiastic and be able to build a rapport with pupils. You will be expected to be a good role model to our pupils working with them in a reliable, committed and dedicated way, showing a genuine interest in their continuing development and well-being.

Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 3.30pm (32.5 hours per week), Term Time only
We are looking for someone who:
- loves children!
- has an NVQ level 3 or equivalent
- has previous experience of working with children (desirable)
- has a cheerful, warm and welcoming personality with the ability to communicate with children and adults alike
- is reliable, efficient, and flexible
- is able to work as part of a team and is willing to learn
- will be committed to the strong Christian ethos of our schools
- can speak fluent English as in accordance with part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016)
