What skills and experience we're looking for

The successful applicant will have experience of working with SEND children, the ability to relate well to children and adults, and will be able to work effectively as part of a team.

We are looking for an applicant who will have the ability to engage in purposeful learning with the children, be dedicated to ensuring the highest quality of care and personal development and have high expectations for the children they work with.

We are looking for a candidate who will value all children, be extremely patient, understanding and have a positive and motivating approach. You will need to be flexible and happy to work in a team and show initiative and independence. The ability to work with others sensitively is essential, this role will include supporting children with intimate care needs.

What the school offers its staff

We are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work in our Key Stage 1 and Early Years setting to support children on a 1:1 basis to meet specific duties in respect of additional care and SEND needs.
