SEN Teaching Assistant job summary
West Hill School requires an enthusiastic and motivated member of staff to support our very special primary school and promote our love of literacy. We are keen to support all our children to achieve as much as they possibly can and are keen that they develop the best literacy skills. Ultimately we want all our children to have a love of reading fostered from an early age.
Experience in schools is not necessary if you have the qualities or skills or qualifications that we are looking for.

West Hill is an incredibly special place to be. We are a newly formed school supporting children with a range of additional needs at primary level. All our children have additional needs and an Education, Health and Care Plan to support their learning. Our school has undergone a huge redevelopment and we have a beautiful library space, support from our community and keen children and staff. We currently have a part time librarian and need further support to embed our reading further
