  • Teaching assistant

• Key stage: Early years, Key stage 1, Key stage 2
• Working pattern: Part time: 32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (Term time plus 1 week) 5 days per week, from 8.30am to 3.30pm
• Contract type: Permanent
• Actual salary: Grade C £15,653 - £15,937 per annum

What skills and experience we're looking for

An ideal candidate will have:

• a level two qualification in both English and Maths, or equivalent the experience.
• a patient and focused attitude towards the educational development ofchildren
• willingness to support and contribute effectively towards the learning.
• experience in working in an education setting, classroom management and working with children of a relevant age

A level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalentwould be a distinct advantage as well as experience with working with pupils who have additional needs.
