SEN Teaching Assistant job summary
16 hours a week. NJC Scale point 5 (Outer London). Initial contract to July 31st 2021
We are looking to recruit a Special Needs Assistant, who can:
• work under the supervision of teaching staff to undertake care and support programmes for pupils
• support individuals or a small group with learning tasks
• assist pupils in participating fully in school life
• support learning of targeted pupils within the class
• support a child with physio needs (training given)
• carry out Maths and English interventions
• be able to manoeuvre a wheelchair up and down ramps
