Teacher Main Scale to Teacher Upper Scale with SEN allowance
Our leadership team are looking forward to appointing a new SENCO from January 2022 or before. We are looking for a passionate teacher with a genuine belief in inclusive education and the achievement of all pupils. This belief in inclusive education is central to our Catholic ethos, where every child is welcomed, protected and loved. Whilst we ask you to share our ethos, you do not need to be a practicing Catholic to apply for this post (we have many non-Catholic members of staff). The best candidate will be selected.
The best way to understand our ethos is to come and visit us – we are a two-form entry city school, we have a dedicated and professional staff, a beautiful, green setting with lots of space (including a forest school) and a creative, broad and balanced curriculum. Our website is in the process of being upgraded and gives a flavour of what we offer.
Our school has a reputation for strong and inclusive SEND provision with a dedicated teaching and support team who think outside of the box to engage and support pupils. This is an exciting opportunity to develop our SEND and nurture provision further and the successful candidate will join a committed leadership team and make a significant contribution to the strategic oversight of SEND teaching and nurture support.
We can offer: · A caring and supportive whole school family which is culturally diverse and inclusive. · A committed team of SEND and nurture support staff. · First class resources and environment. · Excellent professional development and career progression opportunities.
