Job description

To lead the SENCo and safeguarding role within the Inclusion Team.

We are looking for a dynamic, high energy and committed candidate to join our school in the position of SENCO working in our special needs department under the leadership of our Inclusion Lead. Ideally to start as soon as possible or from September 2020.

Essential educational requirements

Qualified Teacher Status for at least 3 years

Evidence of recent relevant professional development

National Award for SEN coordination

Essential qualifications

Qualified Teacher Status for at least 3 years

Essential skills and experience

Experience of effective working with a variety of stakeholders

Experience in the effective use of assessment and analysis in raising standards

Experience of monitoring and identifying areas of improvement

An outstanding classroom practitioner

Previous experience of effective SEN development and pupil based learning

Up to date knowledge of SEN practices and issues
