SENCO Assistant job summary
We are looking for a proactive, resourceful and professional person to join the Learning Support department asSENCOAssistant. Working closely with the SENCO, you will play a vital role in ensuring students with SEND have the full level of support to maximise their potential.
This is an exciting, challenging and varied role that will suit an experienced professional who is able to work on their own initiative, as well as being a highly proactive team player.
The SENCOAssistant (Access Arrangements) will be responsible for the provision of assessment, support and guidance for students with additional needs.They will also plan individual learning programmes and support as a result of assessment, review progress and feedback to teachers. They will work with all members of staff to provide strategies and guidance in supporting students both in the classroom and on a one to one basis.We are looking for an ambitious individual who wishes to train to become a SENCO in the future.
This is a full time, permanent opportunity offering an actual salary of £17,260 - £18,180(£20,595 - £21,693full time equivalent) based on 37 hours, Term Time only.
