What skills and experience we're looking for

  • be a practicing SENCO and have the National Award for SENCO or be willing to complete within two years
  • have first hand experience of working directly with a range of SEN children
  • have a good knowledge of Autism. This will be essential as you will work closely with the Headteacher to lead and develop our Autism provision
  • have leadership experience with proven impact
  • have ambition and drive, to want to make a difference for SEN children in the classroom and beyond it
  • be well organised and resilient with strong problem-solving and IT skills.
  • be an excellent class teacher with a track record of high quality practice and strong pupil progress
  • be enthused by the challenge, and rewards, of working with INCREDIBLE children,
  • be a reflective practitioner, excited by pedagogy and committed to your own professional development to be the best you can be
