What skills and experience we're looking for
- be a practicing SENCO and have the National Award for SENCO or be willing to complete within two years
- have first hand experience of working directly with a range of SEN children
- have a good knowledge of Autism. This will be essential as you will work closely with the Headteacher to lead and develop our Autism provision
- have leadership experience with proven impact
- have ambition and drive, to want to make a difference for SEN children in the classroom and beyond it
- be well organised and resilient with strong problem-solving and IT skills.
- be an excellent class teacher with a track record of high quality practice and strong pupil progress
- be enthused by the challenge, and rewards, of working with INCREDIBLE children,
- be a reflective practitioner, excited by pedagogy and committed to your own professional development to be the best you can be
