Qualifications and training
- Qualified teacher status
- Degree
- Nationally recognised qualification for SENCo’s (Desirable)
- Willing to work towards achieving a Nationally recognised qualification for SENCo’s (Essential)
Experience
- Successful teaching experience across a number of year groups
- Experience planning and delivering interventions for pupils
- Experience of SEN processes e.g. Annual Reviews, EHCNA applications
- Involvement in self-evaluation and development planning (Desirable)
- Experience of conducting training/leading INSET (Desirable)
- Experience developing and line-managing staff (Desirable)

Furzefield Primary School is a vibrant and inclusive mainstream primary school committed to providing a nurturing learning environment for our students. We strive to empower young minds, foster a culture of growth and kindness, and support our community in Merstham, Surrey. We are a two-form entry school with a maintained Nursery, Specialist SEND Centre for 14 pupils and Family Centre on site.
