What skills and experience we're looking for
We are inviting applications from qualified teachers who hold the SENCO qualification.
You will need to be:

Under the direction of the Head, you will determine the strategic development of special educational needs (SEN) and co-ordination of specific provision to support individual pupils with SEN or disability. You will need to manage LSAs and support the SEN interventions across the school and nursery, working closely with the Deputy Head Teacher. The successful candidate will have experience with Essex SEND procedures and will be familiar with documentation for applying for EHCPs and annual reviews.
The successful candidate would be employed as a teacher under the STPCD and will hold specific duties in the role of SEnco.

The school will open in September 2024 with places on offer for all nursery aged children (0-5) and for children starting primary school in Reception.
We will offer 30 places in Reception and up to 56 places in the nursery - with extended hours and wrap-around care being on offer from the first day to support local, working parents who are looking for a convenient, quality-based childcare service to meet their needs.
