What skills and experience we're looking for

Manor Community Primary School is looking to recruit a SENCO to lead Special Educational Needs at the school, to realise the vision, ethos, values and policies of our school, ensuring we meet the statutory requirements with regard to all aspects of SEND.

You will need excellent communication and problem-solving skills; possess confidence and initiative; and have a willingness to contribute to the continued improvement provision for pupils with SEND. Previous SENCO experience within a school or Multi Academy Trust is essential.

The successful candidate will also have the following qualities:

  • High levels of confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure.
  • Ability to challenge others where required.
  • Ability to remain positive when facing challenges.

Role details:

Hours: Full time

Contract: Fixed Term Contract - From 1st September 2023- 31st August 2024

Salary: MPS/UPS + SEN allowance
