What skills and experience we're looking for

The Board of Directors of The Rainbow Multi Academy Trust are looking to appoint a dynamic and enthusiastic SENCo to support four schools; Grampound Road, Grampound with Creed, Ladock and Veryan for maternity cover.

The successful candidate will develop an inspiring vision using the SEND Framework and Code of Practice to support children with SEND to make progress against their starting point. In addition, they will have successfully undertaken the SENCO national accreditation. Knowledge of the Trauma informed Schools (TIS) programme is desirable but not essential.

Excellent organisation and time management skills are essential to ensure the shared resource of a SENCO is a success. The right candidate will have the ability to foster excellent relationships with staff, students, parents and carers. There will be an element of supporting the 1:1 provision involved with this position, and you will be expected to attend occasional meetings.

A commitment to supporting the Christian ethos is required.
