We are a founder member of the Nene Valley Partnership of three local primaries - Bozeat, Cogenhoe and Irchester that feed the local secondary Wollaston School. There is potential to develop this role to lead SENDCo provision across the primary schools in the partnership.

This is a permanent contract with a salary payable on main scale or the upper pay range depending on candidate’s qualifications and experience. Initially, the position has a TLR2 responsibility point, but with the opportunity for future enhancement through the trust role.

Irchester Community Primary School is a two-form entry primary school with a 'Good' Ofsted rating (2018), on a spacious site two miles south of Wellingborough.
The school has developed a reputation as a centre of excellence for teaching primary science. We are unique in Northamptonshire having a fulltime scientist in residence in our very own lab, known as Lab 13.
We have achieved Master School Status for the teaching of Accelerated Reading.
In our extensive grounds we run forest school style activities and have access to the Country Park. We are a founder member of the local Nene Valley Partnership multi-academy trust of four local schools.
