    • National Award for SEN Coordination, or a willingness to complete the NPQ SENCO within 3 years of appointment [note: this is a requirement under the SEND Code of Practice

Pinewood is a SEND Secondary School in Ware, Hertfordshire which provides education for students with a range of needs including Autism, Down’s Syndrome and other conditions that result in a developmental delay. We cater for roughly 210 pupils in School, years 7 to 11.

All our pupils have Education, Health and Care Plans.
