We seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly skilled SENCo to join our inclusive Academy. The successful candidate for this rewarding post will have completed, or be willing to complete, the National SENCo Award.

We are seeking aptitude, experience and adaptability and the determination to advocate for all children experiencing social, emotional, behavioural or learning challenges within the secondary phase of our academy

Due to the all-through nature of the school, this role is anticipated to be a varied and exciting one with opportunities for innovation particularly at the key points of transition. This person will also be expected to play a key role in leading the professional development of our colleagues to support them in delivering the best teaching and support for our students.

We welcome visits to the school and will endeavour to share some of the ways we support and value our staff here at the academy and more widely within the Bridgwater College Trust.  You may feel you want to join us in making a significant contribution to narrowing the gap in achievement for our students and enabling young people to feel the exhilaration of going ‘beyond their best’.
