Description:

Valley Gardens Middle is an outstanding school. It is a highly popular and oversubscribed school with over 750 pupils on roll. Academic standards are well above age related expectations and the school remains ambitious to improve standards further. The ethos of the school is a particular strength and there is a thriving programme of extra-curricular activities. The school has a very strong SEND provision and a long history of success within the department.

We are looking to appoint an outstanding SENCO to contribute to the success and wellbeing of our pupils with additional needs and to further developing our reputation as a caring school.

The successful applicant should be a skilled teacher and have a passion for SEND. They should be able to use their knowledge and leadership to drive improvement within this area and across the whole school. There will be a small teaching commitment attached to this post.
