SEND Administrative Assistant job summary
About this Role
Folly View Primary School is a friendly and successful school looking for an SEN administrator to complement our experienced and committed Inclusion team.
We are proud to be part of the Cambrian Learning Trust, a nine school multi-academy trust, which was established on 1st April 2012. We are looking for a member of staff who is dedicated to supporting children and families, able to demonstrate initiative and the ability to organise and communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders. Applicants should have a good standard of numeracy and literacy (GCSE Grade A – C).
The post involves:
- Supporting the inclusion team with general administrative and clerical tasks
- Arrange and facilitate meetings – including administration in parent meetings, annual review meetings and meetings with external agencies
- Liaise with external professionals regarding meetings, dates and information gathering
- Support families with administration tasks such as completing paperwork
- Providing an excellent administration function to support the inclusion team, maintaining a high level of confidentiality at all times
The ideal candidate will:
- Be organised and able to prioritise tasks.
- Be committed to working with staff, parents, carers and the wider community
